    walking distance

Absolutely loved the casual stroll to nearby gems like O'Rorke's Eatery & Spirits and Hunt's Battlefield Fries & Cafe'—you can't beat the bites there! Plus, our room was comfy enough, even if the decor had seen better days.

    accessibility issues

The stunning antique décor throughout Brickhouse Inn B&B made me feel like I'd stepped back in time. The beautiful gardens were delightful, and I appreciated how easy it was to stroll around without any obstacles.

Could use more accessible seating options.

    warm welcome
    cozy atmosphere

    Couples seeking a unique getaway

From the moment we arrived, the owner Brian welcomed us with warm refreshments that hit the spot after a long drive. Our room, the Maryland Room, was so cozy and charming. We could sit in rocking chairs on the porch and just take it all in.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly, given the quality, it was worth it.

    charming escape
    lovely gardens
    less central location
    missed opportunity

Brickhouse Inn was a charming escape with lovely gardens and cozy rooms. The breakfast was quite good, but I missed the opportunity to dine in the main house since my room was in a less central location. Overall, the hospitality from Tessa and Brian really stood out.

    afternoon cookies

It was a smart choice for taking strolls in Gettysburg with good value considering price it charged. The cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch that added warmth to the stay. For a quieter experience, request a room towards the back away from the street noise.

    charming outdoor area
    variety of board games
    delicious breakfast
    street noise

We had such a great time staying here with friends! We explored the chilling Cemetery and the haunting Welty House. The place had tons of board games and an awesome outdoor area for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was delightful too!

The only downside was the noise from the nearby street, which sometimes made it hard to sleep soundly.

    limited parking
    confusing entrance

I had a pleasant stay at Brickhouse Inn B&B while visiting Gettysburg for work. The location was ideal, only about a mile from the Visitor Center, making it convenient for my business needs. The room was tastefully decorated, and the bed provided excellent comfort. The hosts were attentive and served a delicious breakfast with an impressive selection, including freshly prepared omelets and baked goods.
