Absolutely loved the casual stroll to nearby gems like O'Rorke's Eatery & Spirits and Hunt's Battlefield Fries & Cafe'—you can't beat the bites there! Plus, our room was comfy enough, even if the decor had seen better days.

Couples seeking a unique getaway
From the moment we arrived, the owner Brian welcomed us with warm refreshments that hit the spot after a long drive. Our room, the Maryland Room, was so cozy and charming. We could sit in rocking chairs on the porch and just take it all in.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly, given the quality, it was worth it.

Brickhouse Inn was a charming escape with lovely gardens and cozy rooms. The breakfast was quite good, but I missed the opportunity to dine in the main house since my room was in a less central location. Overall, the hospitality from Tessa and Brian really stood out.

It was a smart choice for taking strolls in Gettysburg with good value considering price it charged. The cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch that added warmth to the stay. For a quieter experience, request a room towards the back away from the street noise.

We had such a great time staying here with friends! We explored the chilling Cemetery and the haunting Welty House. The place had tons of board games and an awesome outdoor area for relaxing after a long day. Breakfast was delightful too!
The only downside was the noise from the nearby street, which sometimes made it hard to sleep soundly.
